Canvas 7.0.2 Updater fixes the following:
Save as HTML:
Fully-justified text which is saved as an HTML document in the Save as HTML dialog is no longer cropped.
Save as PDF:
Images with indexed color palettes can now be properly saved as Adobe Acrobat PDF files.
Transform Palette:
When Units are changed in the Ruler pop-up menu, they now display correctly in the Effects > Transform palette.
Metric units:
You can now set Metric as the default measurement unit in the Rulers dialog box.
Undo:
Canvas now correctly handles the undoing of the Flip effects for bound text objects on a rotated page.
Paste Attributes
You can now paste Attributes into multiple objects at the same time.
Status Bar
All area calculations are now calculated correctly when clicking the Object Measures Field in the Status Bar.
Dimensioning tools:
When Units are set to inches and Precision is set to x x/x Canvas now reads out lengths greater than 12 inches using feet and inches.
MacPaint file filter:
MacPaint files can now be opened.
Onion-skinning:
Custom Onion-skinning settings now have a maximum of 5 Previous and 5 Next frames.
Templates:
Canvas now launches when you double-click a Canvas template file (.CVT).
Copy with EPS:
Images copied using the Edit > Copy Special > Copy with EPS option now paste correctly into Framemaker 5.0 documents
Creating a backup when saving
Documents saved with ÒCreate Backup when SavingÓ enabled now properly create a file named .BAK.
Object Specs:
Canvas now correctly applies arrows via the Info tab in the Object Specs palette.
Printing:
The Collate checkbox in the Canvas Print dialog box is no longer required, due to enhanced capabilities in the LaserWriter print driver.
Two-byte Characters:
Chinese and Korean characters are now properly displayed when using the two-byte text option.
